To be certified as a Road Safety Professional®, Level 2, you must meet all of the following requirements:
New Requirements Effective November 21, 2024 are:
1. Have an accredited bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience in transportation, highway safety, or public health; or have a minimum of ten (10) years or professional work experience in transportation, highway safety, or public health.
2. Hold a current and valid Road Safety Professional® Level 1 certification issued by the Transportation Professional Certification Board (TPCB);
3. Take and attain a passing score on the Road Safety Professional® (RSP), Level 2 exam as administered by the Transportation Professional Certification Board (TPCB); and
4. Have paid the application/examination fee and the three-year certification fee.
5. After initial certification, have met the renewal requirements for the RSP Level 2 Behavioral and/or RSP Level 2 Infrastructure certification.
